โI am truly marveled at how much I was able to gain within such a short period, far above my expectations. My time at Voice of Nature (VoNat) was both valuable and deeply rewarding,โ said Berinyuy Abigel, a student from the University of Buea who interned with VoNat from February 24 to March 24, 2026.

Reflecting on her experience, she highlighted the wide range of practical and professional skills gained during her internship. These included hands-on work in seed collection, nursery development, environmental education, and participation in World Water Day activities, as well as professional training in report writing, grant writing, photography, and communication.
โEvery moment added immense value to my growth,โ she added. โWhat made the experience even more special was the friendly, supportive, and inspiring team, from the Executive Director to every staff member, who created an enabling environment for learning and impact. This internship has greatly strengthened my skills and prepared me for future opportunities in environmental management and sustainable development.โ

The internship experience reflects VoNat’s commitment to nurturing young environmental leaders by providing practical field exposure, mentorship, and capacity-building opportunities. Through such engagements, VoNat continues to empower the next generation with the skills and experience needed to contribute meaningfully to conservation and sustainable development efforts.
