The Executive Director of Voice of Nature (VoNat), Ndimuh B. Shancho, has since Friday May 2, 2024 been engaged in enlightening press men and women on the triple planetary crises and how the power of the media could be leveraged to mitigate these crises. His outreach and sensitization action is within the frame work of the 31st edition of World Press Freedom Day celebrated on the theme: A Press for the Planet; Journalism in the Face of the Environmental Crisis.
Mr. Ndimuh started off as Guest on Hi TV’s flagship environmental programme, Nature’s Corner, and as a resource person on several radio news programmes before being invited to serve as a Guest Speaker at both the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University of Buea and the Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalists in Buea (CAMASEJ-Buea). His presentations at these different platforms painted a vivid picture of the current environmental crisis in Cameroon before zooming on the role of Journalists in mitigating the crisis.
