INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

We are dedicated to grooming the next generation of biodiversity conservation and environmental protection leaders. All aspiring biodiversity conservation and sustainable development professionals from Cameroon and beyond are welcome to VoNat

We at VoNat regard internship as an opportunity to mentor future conservation and sustainable development leaders who may spend the rest of their lives championing the course for a safer planet. It is also a way of letting other young people use their skills and knowledge to contribute to finding solutions to global environmental challenges.  So, any one interested in carrying out internship in any of the organization’s programmes, projects or units are welcome!

Apart from core programme or unit’s activities, interns may be asked to complete routine tasks as well as contribute to the implementation of one or more specific  activities. All interns are encouraged to take part in organisation-wide activities and discussions to make the most of their experience at VoNat.

The internship period ranges between 1 to 6 months. Interns are not paid but the organization makes available necessary logistics to enhance their work, based on the availability of funds. All interns are given basic orientation and training on reporting and article writing, financial management, preparation and execution of field work, and other forms of organisational development. All interns must adhere to the internal rules and regulations of the Organization and endeavor to submit a report of their stay at VoNat at the end of their internship period, and a well written article about their experience serving the Organization.

Interested candidates are requested to submit their application including a letter of motivation, Curriculum Vitae, and a general statement on their area of interest and what they expect to gain at the end of the internship period. The application should be sent to info.voiceofnature@gmail.com and admin@vonat.org with; “Application for Internship at VoNat” as the subject.
