The Species Conservation Programme Coordinator of Voice of Nature (VoNat), Delphine Kihkishiy, recently acquired new skills in (MEAL), project management best practices, monitoring and evaluation techniques, and strategies for ensuring effective project outcomes. This was the outcome of a 2-day workshop that took place in Yaounde. Cameroon Center for Peace Research and Initiative (CAMPEACI) organized this training, which aims to enhance the effectiveness of project implementation in Cameroon.

According to Madam Kihkishiy, the training provided her and other participants hands-on experience on Theory of Change (TOC), Log Framework, and Performance Management Plan (PMP), which gave her a comprehensive understanding of how to strategically plan, monitor, and evaluate projects for success.

“By leveraging the tools and frameworks I acquired, I am confident in my ability to develop robust monitoring plans, track progress against key milestones, and adapt our strategies as needed to ensure project success,” she said.

VoNat remains committed to enhancing the professional development of its staff and volunteers as the organization strive to build a greener, safer and more sustainable planet for wildlife and humanity to thrive.
