Testimonials

I Acquired Communication & Project Management Skills at VoNat

I am happy I joined VoNat. It is indeed a training ground for those who want to go far in their career and professional life. My stay at Voice of Nature (VoNat) was a time to learn and acquire new skills. I particularly gathered so much experience and new skills in project development, business communication, public speaking, project management and reporting amongst others. I also gained skills in community mobilization, photography, grant writing, curriculum development, graphic designing and more. These are additional skills from what I envisaged.

My Internship was Eye-opening, Something I will Never Forget

I was very lucky to be selected for an internship at Voice of Nature (VoNat) in Cameroon. My internship was an eye-opening experience and something I will never forget. I met incredible people who were trying to improve the livelihoods of local people and protect the environment. The passion, and willingness to participate in the restoration project was heart-warming, and I see there is a real opportunity here to work with the community and make some amazing improvements. I am hopeful to continue to support VoNat in the future and see some of the changes implemented for the benefit of the people, and to protect the landscape for its biodiversity and natural beaty.

VoNat Showed us an Effective Way of Mitigating Climate Impact

Our team had an enriching experience working with Voice of Nature (VoNat). VoNat showed us an effective and caring way of mitigating the impact brought by climate change. It was inspiring to work with such a mission-driven organization, and we learned a lot from the experience. One of the most significant learning moments for us was the importance of effective communication and collaboration. We realized that clear communication and collaboration are crucial to achieving project goals and ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Another valuable lesson we learned from the project was the importance of understanding the client’s needs and goals. VoNat also showed us the way of fighting climate change which combined education of the youth and offered solutions to actual problems faced by households. We are really grateful to VoNat for the great opportunity, which trained and tested our skills of teamwork and problem-solving.
