Voice of Nature (VoNat) took part in the Cameroon Civil Society Conference 2025 , held in Buea on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The conference brought together representatives from over 20 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) across the country to reflect on their roles in driving peace, development, and social change.

Our Executive Director, Ndimuh Bertrand Shancho , represented VoNat at this important gathering, which was convened by Ngang God’sWwill of Royalty World under the theme: “Humanitarian and Development Work as Catalysts for Peace and Development.”
The conference offered participants a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, share best practices, and engage in discussions on how CSOs can realign their strategies to better serve communities and maximize their collective impact. For VoNat, it was a moment to reflect on how our work in biodiversity conservation, community empowerment, and climate action contributes not only to environmental sustainability but also to broader social development and peacebuilding efforts.

“The discussions were insightful and inspiring. They reinforced the importance of collaboration among civil society actors and reminded us that impact is not solely dependent on funding but focusing on the people we serve and aligning our initiatives with their needs ensures that even small actions can create lasting change,”said Ndimuh Bertrand Shancho.
By participating in events like this, VoNat continues to strengthen its network, learn from fellow CSOs, and explore new opportunities to amplify its impact in conservation and community development.
